Gene D. Simes
President Veterans For Veteran Connection Inc. (VFVC), as well as
the National Chairman of Operation Firing for Effect
Veterans now
I am asking we take the next step and make the 2008 elections the
year that we will make the voices of 27 million Veterans from
yesterday, today and tomorrow heard across the nation.
U.S.M.C.
Semper Fi Always Faithful
Gene Simes,
The man we have come to know as the President of “Veterans for
Veterans Connection” and Chairman of “Operation Firing For Effect
2008” is a disabled, retired Marine who hasn’t forgotten how to make
battle plans that produce the maximum results with the minimum
amount of fire power.
Mr. Simes
served admirably in Viet Nam with the US Marines. During his tour
of duty, Gene consequently became disabled due to wounds sustained
in the line of duty, fighting for the freedom that we all in the
U.S. sometimes take for granted.
The mark of a
true Veteran is someone who has, and is willing to help others get
what they fought for and deserve. Gene Simes is that type of
Veteran. Gene has a physical challenge, yet he is willing to help
others get what the government promised them when they served in the
Armed Forces. Gene cares about his fellow veterans enough to devote
countless hours in organizing “Operation Firing for Effect 2008”.
As he has organized so many veterans events like the Veteran March
of 2006.
To insure
that the battle plan is successfully executed, Gene and the
committee have spent hundreds of hours making countless phone call’s
and answering email, as well as sending countless faxes just to
insure that All Veterans have the ability to speak to Congress and
to show America just how much freedom means to them.
Freedom isn’t
free; it was brought to you by Veterans who endured cold nights,
hard days, low morale and unbelievable danger. Freedom isn’t FREE
when a human life is lost, Freedom isn’t Free when promises are
made, only to be promises that are broken.
Gene has the
talent to know how to pick members of his operation. He has chosen
people who are intelligent enough to take orders, but willing to
make suggestions that will help make the mission run very smoothly.
Gene has picked the top leaders to help him.
He knew that
each of these would be a vital link in the chain of command and he
knew without these vital links that the chain would fail. He is a
proven leader.
